So tonight I was missing the American style Mexican food that is so common in Temecula. So, I recreated my favorite burrito! The simple carne asada burrito with the meat, gucamole and pico de gallo. Made everything myself, as usual, but I made one little mistake… I left the tortillas in the oven too long while they were warming up so they turned crispy. Oops.
The cherry filling for the black forest cake- 30 oz sour cherries, 10 oz maraschino cherries. It was supposed to be all sour cherries but it was too expensive to buy another can so I bought a tiny jar of the maraschino cherries instead.
